As part of Prairie Debut’s expanded efforts to support Canadian musicians in an unprecedented time, we are bringing classical music closer to home for Alberta audience members. Trio Nobara showcases three Alberta artists in a program celebrating the pinnacle composers of three musical periods. Akiko Tominaga’s piano performance has been described by the Ottawa Citizen as “captivating,  delicate and crystalline.” She is joined by cellist Kathleen de Caen and violinist Laura Reid in a program featuring works by Schubert, Beethoven, and Canadian Juno and multi-award-winning composer Dinuk Wijeratne.
